Yash stars as Rocky, alongside Srinidhi Shetty as Reena Desai while debutante Ramachandra Raju features as Garuda. The narrator of the film Anant Nag also played a supporting role in the film. In 2015 the development of the film started, but the shoot began two years later. Almost fifty percent of the Chapter One filmed on the Kolar Field which located in Bangalore, India.
K.G.F Chapter One revolves around Raja Krishnappa Bairya “Rocky”, born into poverty. He came to Bombay on 1960 on a quest for as desired his mother. Later on Rocky involves with the gold mafia there. Yash appointed to kill Garuda who is a big gold mafia of there.
Gradually Rocky Becomes right hand of Shetty’s and soon rises in strength and power rivalling that of Shetty’s. The main reason that make Rocky a gangster is because his mother wants him to be one. The money generated from the gold allowed him to force villagers from the neighboring villages are bonded slave labor in the mines, where they lived and died in it.
